About us
LLC Modum-Trans is the rail freight transport operator, one of the leaders in terms of loading coal for export on the Russian Railways network.
Having started in 2010 as a captive transport company, the Company gradually increased its fleet and expanded the geography of presence. Today Modum-Trans is an independent large operator with the flagship positions in the freight rail transportation market. Separate subdivisions are functioning in Saint-Petersburg, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk.
Modum-Trans provides rolling stock for the transportation of cargoes across the entire 1520 track.
The main destinations are the ports of Azov-Black Sea basin, the ports of the North-West and the Far East for the subsequent transportation of cargoes by sea. In the eastern direction transportation is carried out to the border stations Grodekovo, Kamyshovaya, Zabaikalsk, Mikhailo-Semenovskaya.
